Unforgettable is directed by Denise Di Novi and produced by Denise Di Novi and Alison Greenspan. It stars Katherine Heigl and Rosario Dawson. After escaping an abusive relationship, website editor, Julia Banks (Rosario Dawson), finds true love with divorced microbrewer David Connover. She relocates to David’s home in a peaceful Southern California town. There, Julia struggles to connect with David’s daughter, Lily, while having an equally wary relationship with David’s ex-wife, high strung Tessa (Katherine Heigl). Julia’s happiness is short-lived as it becomes increasingly apparent that the unstable Tessa is out to bring her down and reclaim David.
Katherine Heigl is an Emmy Award winner and Golden Globe nominated actress, best known for her starring roles in the feature films Knocked Up, 27 Dresses and the The Ugly Truth, as well as her portrayal of Dr. Isobel 'Izzie' Stevens in the ABC television medical drama Grey's Anatomy.
In the Fall, Heigl will headline the CBS legal drama pilot Doubt, which reunites her with former Grey's Anatomy writers/producers Tony Phelan and Joan Rater, and in August she began principal photography for the upcoming thriller Unforgettable, directed by Denise Di Novi. Katherine also played the title role in two independent features this summer, the music themed romance Jackie and Ryan opposite Ben Barnes and the drama Jenny's Wedding with Tom Wilkinson.
In addition to her work in front of the camera, Katherine partnered with her mother and business partner Nancy Heigl to form the production company Abishag in 2007. She has since served as an executive producer on a number productions in which she has starred, most notably the 2014 NBC TV series State Of Affairs where she took the lead role of CIA analyst Charleston 'Charlie' Tucker. The show was developed by Abishag in partnership with the Bob Simonds Co. and Universal TV.
