The Luka Dončić Foundation and The Finney Family First Foundation are proud to present this one-of-a-kind sneaker project created by Luka Dončić and world-renowned sneaker artist Marcus Floyd aka Infinite Kustomz.
This auction features a matching set of Jordan Luka 1 “For the Love” sneakers in University Red/Bright Crimson/Metallic Gold for one (1) human and one (1) horse. Each sneaker will be autographed by Luka Dončić.
The Luka 1 "For The Love" celebrates Luka's love for making a difference in the lives of those in need.
The custom “Horse Kicks” will be crafted by Marcus Floyd from a deconstructed Jordan Luka 1 "For The Love" colorway. They are wearable, but are made to be displayed as an art piece.
Through his first four NBA seasons, Luka Dončić has put up historic numbers and produced one of the best starts to a career the league has ever seen. The 23-year-old Slovenian was born in Ljubljana, where he stood out as a youth player for Union Olimpija, before joining the Youth Academy at Real Madrid in Spain. In 2015, he made his Madrid senior team debut at age 16, becoming the youngest to do so in club history. Two years later he led his club to the 2018 EuroLeague Title, while earning honors as the EuroLeague MVP.
After an outstanding first season in Dallas that saw him earn Kia Rookie of the Year honors, Dončić garnered All-NBA First Team accolades as a 21-year-old in his sophomore Season. In doing so he became the first player to earn All-NBA First Team honors in either his first or second season since Tim Duncan in 1998-99. He also became the sixth player in league history to be named All-NBA First Team at age 21-or-younger.
Dončić joined the great Dirk Nowitzki as the only Mavericks to be tabbed All-NBA First Team. Dončić has been selected to the NBA All-star team three times and his career numbers include averages of 33.5 PTS, 8.1 AST, and 9.1 REB, and he has tallied 50 triple-doubles, which already places him in the top 10 all-time.
Horse Kicks are created by Lexington, KY native Marcus Floyd, aka Infinite Kustomz, creating custom 1-to-1 orders in classic colorways. A lifelong sneakerhead, Floyd studied the art of shoe “decon/recon” at The Shoe Surgeon’s SRGN Academy. Now he’s pioneering a whole new genre of footwear never before seen in the sneaker game.
