In some ways, Ashley and Fran couldn't be more different. Ashley started her career as an artist whose work has been compared to Andy Warhol, while Fran started her career in the corporate world. When you peel back the layers, though, they have so much in common: they are both entrepreneurial, self-made and have built massively successful businesses centered around content and experiences. They are friends who fiercely support each other and provide mentorship and love to aspiring artists and entrepreneurs.
Ashley Longshore’s art makes noise. The globally recognized pop artist has been compared to Andy Warhol by both Town & Country Magazine and The New York Post, noting the similarity in their obsession with pop culture icons and current brands. Ashley’s vibrant personality and bold artwork has been featured in major publications including: Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle, Travel & Leisure, InStyle, Harper’s Bazaar Singapore, and French GQ among others. Ashley’s non-traditional approach to marketing her work via social media, public relations and collaborations represents a new wave in an industry that is undergoing its own digital revolution.
Fran Hauser is a long-time media executive, startup investor and best-selling author of The Myth of the Nice Girl. She's held senior positions at some of the world’s largest digital media businesses, including Time Inc.'s PEOPLE, InStyle, and Entertainment Weekly as well as AOL and Moviefone. Now an angel investor who largely invests in female founders, Fran was named one of Business Insider's "30 Women In Venture Capital to Watch in 2018."
