Eric F. Trump is the Founder of The Eric Trump Foundation and Executive Vice President, Development and Acquisitions, The Trump Organization. In this role as EVP, Eric is responsible for all new project acquisition & development throughout the world and directly oversees the company's portfolio of properties, containing over 70 global projects. He is also credited, along with his siblings, Donald Jr. and Ivanka, with the creation and management of the Trump Hotel Collection (THC). Eric’s personal portfolio of award-winning properties includes hotels in New York (Central Park and SoHo), Chicago, Las Vegas, Waikiki, Panama, Manila, Punta del Este, Toronto, Vancouver, Doral & Rio de Janeiro, opening in 2016.
Eric was particularly instrumental in the development of Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago, currently the 2nd tallest building in North America. He is also responsible for the operation and development of Trump Seven Springs, a 230-acre parcel of prime real estate located in Bedford, NY, Westchester County, that will feature luxury homes, an exclusive equestrian facility and other privately managed amenities.
Alongside his father, Donald J. Trump, Eric spearheaded the expansion of Trump’s award-winning portfolio of golf courses from only three in 2006, to over fifteen today, including multiple Trump National golf courses in New York, New Jersey and Florida, as well as courses in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Charlotte and Puerto Rico. Eric regularly identifies and pursues distressed golf properties for domestic and global expansion. Currently, Eric is responsible for the redesign and renovation of the famed Blue Monster Course, at the newly acquired Trump National Doral, Miami, FL, with his sister, Ivanka.
In 2011, Eric launched his latest project, Trump Winery, a leading grower and producer of award-winning wines. Based in Charlottesville, VA, Trump Winery earned Virginia's first 91-point rating for its SP Reserveand has won numerous gold medals at international wine competitions. In Eric’s role as President, he works in all aspects from winemaking & global distribution to marketing & sales. In 2013, Wine Enthusiast Magazine awarded Eric with its "Rising Star of the Year" award.
Eric is an authority in the business sector and regularly delivers keynote speeches at international business, winery and real estate conferences around the world. In 2012, Eric was recognized by Forbes Magazine among their top "30 under 30" in Real Estate, and by The New York Observer as one of the "20 Most Important Young Philanthropists." Eric is also a prominent fixture on NBC's, The Celebrity Apprentice, and regularly appears as a task advisor and boardroom judge.
In 2006, he founded The Eric Trump Foundation, which has donated and pledged nearly $28 million to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, to date. Recently, the foundation financed the construction of The Eric Trump Foundation Surgical & ICU Center, a state-of-the-art medical center opening at St. Jude in 2015. Most notably, The Eric Trump Foundation AMKL Cancer Research Laboratory made a groundbreaking discovery by identifying a critical fusion gene responsible for almost 30% of a rare type of childhood leukemia.
Eric is a generous supporter of several other philanthropic organizations, including Operation Smile, Animal Aid USA, Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Staten Island Zoological Societyand North Shore Animal League America.
