Kelly Wearstler is a renowned American designer and tastemaker known for her enchanting take on interiors. Over the better part of the last decade, Wearstler has primed the lifestyle and design experiences for resorts and hotels throughout the United States and abroad. In the Fall of 2011 Wearstler debuted her ready–to–wear and accessories collection, while simultaneously opening the doors to her flagship boutique on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. In addition to her free-standing boutique, the collection is also available at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, and Net–A–Porter.
Wearstler’s expansive list of credits includes collaborations with some of the industry’s most respected names, including The Rug Company, and Bergdorf Goodman. This spring she will launch a new line of fabrics with Lee Jofa, her second collection with the venerated textile company, and she will debut a collection of casual dinnerware with Pickard for whom she most recently designed a set of formal dinnerware. As a showcase for her creative work, Wearstler has published 3 books, Modern Glamour: The Art of Unexpected Style, Domicilium Decoratus and HUE. A fourth book is currently underway with renowned publishing house Rizzoli, and is set for completion in the Fall of 2012.
"My design is a raw and organic form with a refined architecture. There is a subtle change in the color of the crystals combined with a black stain. The chairs will be delivered free of charge within a 100 mile radius of New York City and at a reduced cost to any other domestic (USA) destination. Should the winner reside outside of the 100 mile radius of NYC, in addition to the shipping fee there will be an additional $175 crating charge for each chair.
