Cancer for College is a 501 (c) 3 charitable foundation formed in 1993 by two-time cancer survivor and double amputee Craig Pollard. He saw first hand how cancer can not only devastate a family physically and emotionally, it can wipe them out financially as well. Cancer treatment can quickly exhaust all financial resources as the familiy struggles to return their child to good health. Together with his good friend and Univeristy of Southern California fraternity brother Will Ferrell, the charity has granted over $2 million in scholarships to more than 1,000 cancer survivors from around the country.
