On November 1st, the New York arts community was shaken by the discovery of anti-Semitic graffiti on the walls of the Union Temple of Brooklyn, a historic synagogue in Prospect Heights. All proceeds from Love Speech concert and silent auction will go to the Southern Poverty Law Center, who monitor hate speech and fight for civil rights across America, and help pay for the temple's much-needed additional security.
