With over a decade of experience directing for global brands like SONY, MASTERCARD, VISA, COCA-COLA, and AVON—and earning UN Women’s recognition for challenging gender stereotypes—Juliana’s commercial work places women and diverse voices at the center of the narrative, blending bold cinematic aesthetics with socially driven storytelling. Her latest project, THE CODE for DOVE, celebrating the brand’s Real Beauty 20th-anniversary milestone, earned major accolades, including an Anthem Award, an Effie, and Cannes Titanium and Glass shortlist.
Juliana’s feature debut, UÝRA – THE RISING FOREST was showcased at prestigious venues like the Barbican in London, BAM in Brooklyn, Fondazione Prada in Milan, and the DGA Theater in Los Angeles. The critically acclaimed film won 19 awards, including honors from London Film Week, New Filmmakers LA, One World Media, and Outfest. Most recently, she was selected for the Directors Guild of America’s Television Mentorship Program, where she trained under veteran directors to refine her episodic directing skills. Part of the DGA’s Development and Diversity Initiative, the program fosters new voices in Hollywood, creating opportunities for underrepresented talent.
