“I am honored to be selected as one of the designers chosen to participate in this fantastic charity. We really wanted our chair to be a culmination of the things we love: an antique textile and leather cording juxtaposed with a shot of a modern, vibrant color and a classic wool boucle. We treated the Swan chair as though it was going in our own home by making it feel chic, yet comfortable and well-assembled.”
Special thanks to Alberto Sanchez of A.S. Upholstery for upholstering the chair Holland & Sherry for donating the Rosemary Hallgarten Double Boucle Alpaca fabric for the chair Mete Mutlu owner of Yoruk Gallery for donating the antique textile for the pillow Molly Quinlan owner of Eli Wyn Upholstery for making us the blue suede pillow Greg Fishman of Fishman’s Fabrics for donating the textile for the suede pillow.
The chairs will be on view at SUITE New York during the month of October for interested bidders to view in person.
