Failure isn't an option for the new Navy SEALs, and that kind of pressure can take a toll on the members of the special operations forces' most elite unit. This team -- which includes Jason, the group's intense leader, and Ray, Jason's longtime confidant, along with loyal soldier Sonny and SEAL hopeful Clay -- trains, plans and executes some of the most dangerous, high-stakes missions and deploys for clandestine missions around the globe at a moment's notice. While serving their country is a worthy and rewarding cause, it can put a strain on the SEALs and their families, causing the guys to look out for one another in the face of seemingly overwhelming odds, both on and off the job.
Over the course of his career, AJ Buckley has appeared in over 30 feature films and television series. As versatile and prolific actor, he has brought to life dramatic and comedic characters ranging from a nerdy scientist, to a romantic sociopath, and a tough as nails Navy SEAL.
This year Buckley can be seen starring opposite David Boreanaz on CBS’ hit military drama “SEAL Team.”The series follows the professional and personal lives of
the most elite unit of Navy SEAL’s as they train, plan, and execute the most dangerous, high stakes missions our country can ask of them. Buckley shines as a born and bred Texan, Sonny Quinn, who is known for his tough bravado and no-nonsense attitude. Season three premiered on October 2, 2019.

Born in Ireland, Buckley immigrated to Canada at the age of six. He spent his teenage years in
British Columbia, where he began his acting career guest starring on shows such as “The X-Files.” It was after his breakout role in the film “Disturbing Behavior” that acclaimed director David Nutter suggested he move to Los Angeles.
While working in film and television is one of Buckley’s greatest passions, he is also a thriving entrepreneur armed with a handful of successful ventures. He is the co-founder of Paperclip, an innovative line of high-end diaper bags designed for modern parenthood. Their mission is to develop thoughtful, stylish and environmentally conscious products for parents. Beginning in September 2019, all Paperclip changing bags will be made from no less than 75% reclaimed and recycled ocean plastic. The idea was first born while Buckley was changing his daughter’s diaper in the men’s room and noticed the need for a better changing table system. Celebrities have flocked to grab one of Buckley’s bags, and the company has been covered by People Magazine, Entertainment Tonight, TheT alk, Buzzfeed, and US Weekly, to name a few.
