Bid to win 2 original paintings by Pockets Warhol commissioned by Martin Gore for use in his latest EP, "The Third Chimpanzee”.
Winning bidder will also receive an MG "Third Chimpanzee" LP and MG "Third Chimpanzee Remixed" LP" signed by Martin Gore, as well as a personal video thank you message from Martin Gore.
Martin attempted to blur the lines between humans and monkeys by creating primate-like sounds using his voice and other manipulation effects throughout the recording of 'The Third Chimpanzee.' While brainstorming artwork concepts, Martin stumbled upon paintings created by Pockets Warhol, a rescued capuchin monkey at the Story Book Farm Primate Sanctuary in Canada. Martin personally reached out to Pockets’ team to commission five paintings as cover art and sleeve art for ‘The Third Chimpanzee.' These are two of the five paintings that were commissioned for the project.
