Currently Chief Executive Officer of Medialets, the first and only MRC accredited buy-side ad server in Mobil, Richy has been a pioneer and leader in digital advertising leading ad sales and operational organizations for some of America’s top media brands since 1995. Most recently his successful pivot into C-level leadership and ad tech resulted in two successful turn arounds and exits.
Richy is also a driving force for Breastcancer.org, helping found the organization and serving on the Board of Directors. For the past 7 years, Richy has led the Bowling for Breastcancer.org Organizing Committee in raising awareness and donations from over 100 media and marketing companies to the tune of $3 million dollars to date.
As Chief Operating Officer of MedHelp, Richy pioneered digital advertising and sales, leading ad sales divisions for some of America’s top media brands.
Prior to joining MedHelp, Richy served as Executive VP of ad sales for Lionsgate/TV Guide, directing TV Guide’s Media Ad Sales for broadcast, online, mobile, interactive advertising, broadband, and video-on-demand platforms. Prior to joining Gemstar-TV Guide in 2004, Richy was senior vice president of ad sales for News Corps/Speed Channel.
In 1999, Richy founded and served as CEO of Phase2Media, the first online sales and marketing rep firm dedicated to exclusive representation for branded sites.
He was the first head of ad sales for CNN.com, CNNfn.com, CNNSI.com, and CNN.com International, following a nine-year stint in ad sales and regional management at Turner Broadcasting and six years with MTV Networks.
As co-founder of the Internet Advertising Bureau and its vice chairman for the first five years, Richy has helped to set industry standards in digital advertising and continues to be a thought leader and innovator for multi-platform advertising strategies.
