Enjoy the most spectacular trip to Rome and Vatican City for two guests and four nights! You will have the opportunity to attend the Papal Audience and enjoy an exclusive private viewing of the Vatican Museums when closed to the public with a historian.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Upon arrival at Rome FCO airport, airport welcome and private transfer to your accommodation in the city center. Enjoy the rest of the day to settle in and explore your surroundings.
Day 2: Meet your guide at the hotel for a foodie walking tour of Rome (2 hours). This evening set out on an extraordinary private after-hours visit to the Vatican Museums at 6.00 pm or 7.00 pm and marvel at some of the world’s most spectacular works of art. The Museum will be closed to the public so you and your guide have exclusive use of the entire museum. The visit takes place exclusively after the opening hours of the Vatican Museums to the public. It has a maximum duration of 2 hours and it includes the following itinerary: 6.00 pm / 7.00 pm: opening of the entrance door of the Vatican Museums and beginning of the visit to the Pio Clementino Museum, Upper Galleries (Candelabra, Tapestries, Geographic Maps), Raphael's Rooms, Sistine Chapel.
Day 3: Take part in Wednesday’s Papal Audience. The Wednesday General Audience starts at 9:30 am. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Enjoy dinner at Mirabelle restaurant in Rome. Perched on the seventh floor of the luxurious Hotel Splendide Royal, the Mirabelle restaurant will let you enjoy a precious sensory experience on Rome’s most enchanting gourmet terrace. All the ingredients for a magical evening are there, starting with the impeccable service and the excellent cuisine. At sunset, Rome turns a magical shade of pink, a truly unforgettable experience!
Day 4: Explore the Baroque historical center of the city, Piazza del Popolo, via Margutta and its art galleries and ateliers, the magnificent Piazza di Spagna with its iconic steps and the Barcaccia fountain in the middle, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. Spend the afternoon at leisure.
Day 5: Spend the morning at leisure. Private transfer to Rome FCO airport for your return flight.
