Amy Rodriguez is one of the most electrifying soccer stars in the world. She began her career in 2004 for the USWNT as a 17-year-old phenom and has remained a cornerstone for Team USA ever since. Amy is best known for her blazing speed and the clutch goal scoring ability she demonstrates during the team’s biggest matches. She is one of only a few elite athletes to win a championship in every major tournament of their sport (NCAA, Olympics 2x, World Cup and Pro League 2x) making her one of the most decorated athletes in soccer history.
In 2013 Amy inspired her team, country and fans in an all new way by becoming the youngest mother to play for the USWNT. Her emotional story depicting how hard she worked to balance her life and battle her way back on to the field after giving birth made her a media sensation. She would later turn the soccer world upside down when she scored two goals in the NWSL final to lead her team to a Championship one year after her son was born.
